YOUNG LIFE

Helping local kids find true life

  1. We​ enter the world​ of teenagers and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Nashville.
  2. We share the hope of who our friends can become and who they were designed to be.
  3. We create a safe environment for our Capernaum friends to experience life to the full.

Get Involved


Volunteer Leader​ - We ask for a commitment of at least 2 years for Club, Contact Work, Small Group, and Camp. Your Mondays will be the best part of your week!

Adult Helper​ - Adults who are willing to jump in and be an extra set of hands or a dance partner at Club and Small Groups.

High School Buddies​ - high school friends who show up and dive into friendship with our Capernaum friends! You’ll be by their side at Club and Small Groups, learning about God’s love together.

Become a Leader

Our Capernaum staff and Volunteer Leaders meet new Capernaum friends by entering into their world - going to high school lunches, extra-curricular activities and events, and sharing meals together to become familiar - earning the right to be heard.
